ABOUT SKINNY HODGE

John Hodgkinson (Skinny Hodge) is an influential Music Artist with a devoted following. John began his music journey in in 2003 as a high school sophomore with his band buddies.  The started a band named "By All Means" and won their high school talent show with a cover of the punk band "Brand New".   During his senior year he started playing solo at the Louise's Bar in downtown Kalamazoo every Tuesday night.   In 2013, he started a new band with the original bass player from high school and a couple new artist he meet while hosting a Thursday night open Jam at Rupert's Bar.  They went on to play all  over the Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan.   After the birth of his daughter in 2016, he slowed down and went back to solo performances and settled in Vicksburg, MI.  There he has grown a grassroot local following right in the heart of our little country hometown, Vicksburg , MI.  He currently features covers music from wide genre with a core in Blues, Southern Rock, and Country music.  With hopes of getting snowed in this winter and get cozied up with a pen and a pad.  It has been a long time in waiting for this moment in his career.  Stay turned this summer for the debut for the release of his first originals!
